Responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions of the company including billings to customers
Monitor and follow up accounts receivables
Process payments and managing vendors enquiries
Prepare full set of accounts including AR, AP and GL
Prepare timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations (banks, intercompanies balances & etc)
Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules and monthly management reports
Compile and submit Withholding Tax (Malaysia) monthly and SST (Malaysia) returns quarterly
Liaise with external auditors and tax agent on annual audit and tax filings
Attend to merchants’, government and any other enquiries from third parties
Cashflow forecast for daily operations
Any other ad hoc duties as directed by the Company
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
Candidate possesses at least an Advanced Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent qualification in Accountancy/Finance.
Good in Excel & Google Spreadsheet;
Preferably conversant in English and Mandarin (spoken and written). We are seeking candidates who are proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with our Mandarin speaking clients.
Good interpersonal & communication skills;
Able to multi-task and work independently;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to details.
